Societal attitudes toward homosexuality 

Very greatly across different cultures and historical periods, as do attitudes toward sexual desire, activity relationships in general. All cultures have their own values regarding appropriate and inappropriate sexuality, some sanction same-sex love and sexuality, while others may disapprove of such activities in part. As with heterosexual behavior, different sets of prescriptions and proscriptions may be given to individuals according to their gender, age, social status or social class.

In conclusion, the strongest relationship between LGBT acceptance and LGB-inclusive policies occurs within country contexts where public opinion impacts public policy.

The greatest wish is not for laws to pass, but for true acceptance and equality. So, openness may not completely disarm prejudice, but it is a good place to start.

In this series of my paintings “ACCEPTANCE” I have focused mostly on G group of LGBT and as Harvey Milk said: if you help elect more gay people, that gives a green light to all who feel disenfranchised a green light to move forward.
